Ashleigh K. Dougill

Ashleigh Dougill joined BEH in 2022 and brings passion and a blend of public and private experience to the firm. She is excited to continue to expand her legal expertise with BEH and provide support to Oregon’s local communities.

Ashleigh first became interested in government law while interning for the City of Sherwood during her final year of law school. At Sherwood, she gained experience in public financing, property acquisition, real estate transactions, land use, legislative drafting, and municipal law and governance. Following her graduation, Ashleigh served as corporate counsel for Vestas USA, advising on wind turbine sales, service, and project development negotiations with both public and private customers nationwide. Her practice at BEH principally focuses on public contracting and land use.

Ashleigh attended the University of Oregon for her undergraduate degree, and also earned her J.D. from UO Law School.  She lives in Portland, and enjoys spending time with family and friends exploring the outdoors, listening to music, attending Portland Thorns games, and trying out Oregon’s many coffee shops and breweries.
