Advising police and other public safety officers is an important aspect of assisting our clients in providing an integral service to their communities. We work closely with law enforcement leadership to find creative solutions to protect public safety officers and citizens alike. We often assist with drafting policies and procedures; search and seizure issues; labor issues; responding to subpoenas on behalf of officers; responding to public records requests; and providing training and updates on qualified immunity issues. We have provided trainings on the legal issues surrounding body cameras and we stay abreast of “best practice” issues in law enforcement.
